Sonic Ocean Style make the move to INFUSION
GlenTaylor from Sonic ocean Style, Gisborne based manufacturers of high
quality hand laminated surf craft, contacted the Vacmobile team in June with
a request to supply a vacuum system for infusion use.
He was invited to attend an infusion demonstration at vacmobile HQ in
Silverdale where he spent time discussing the vacuum fundamentals of
the process.
Glen took the knowledge back to the Sonic factory and successfully infused their first surf ski within a month.
The Sonic team are very pleased with their infused skis, which are produced to a reduced
and consistent weight of 18kgs with a tolerance of 20grams.
